2. Return Window

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to change your mind and cancel your order.

  • Standard Return Period: You must notify us and initiate your return within 14 days from the date you received your package.
  • Overdue Returns: Items sent back after this 14-day window will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

3. Eligibility Criteria for Returns

To qualify for a successful return and subsequent refund, the item must meet the following strict conditions:

  • Unused and Clean: The item must be completely unused, free of pet hair, odors, dirt, or signs of wear.
  • Original Packaging: The product must be in its original packaging, including all tags, labels, manuals, and accessories.
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original receipt, invoice, or online order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to inspect all returned goods. If an item is returned in an unacceptable condition (e.g., damaged by a pet or washed), the return will be rejected, and the item will be sent back to you at your expense.


4. Damaged or Defective Items

We take quality control seriously. If you receive a product that is broken, defective, or incorrect, you are eligible for a replacement or a full refund, subject to our core validation process:

  1. Photo/Video Evidence: You must email leafmis@unitedpetuk.com within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic or video proof of the damage.
  2. Mandatory Return: Even for defective items, the product must be returned to us first. We do not issue instant refunds based on photo evidence alone.
  3. Inspection: Once our team inspects the returned defective item and confirms the fault, we will process your choice of a full refund or a free replacement.

5. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items

Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned or refunded due to hygiene, safety, and health protection reasons:

  • Custom-made, personalized, or engraved pet accessories.
  • Perishable goods (such as pet food, treats, and supplements).
  • Open health, hygiene, or grooming products (such as pet shampoos or brushes).

6. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these precise steps:

  2. If your request is approved, we will send you a Return Authorization form and the official return warehouse address.
  3. Pack the item securely and include the completed Return Authorization form inside the parcel.

7. Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of Mind: If you are returning an item simply because you no longer want it or ordered the wrong size/color, you are responsible for paying all return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Faulty/Incorrect Items: If the return is due to our error (defective or incorrect item sent), we will reimburse your standard return shipping costs once the item is inspected and the defect is verified.

8. Refund Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected by our warehouse team, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the item’s condition.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed immediately. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (e.g., credit card, PayPal).
  • Timeframe: Please allow 7 to 14 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer’s processing times.
