This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping procedures, estimated delivery timeframes, tracking methods, and handling policies. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms and conditions detailed below.
1. Order Processing Time
All orders are processed and prepared for shipment from our fulfillment facilities within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and UK public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
- Cut-Off Time: Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT will be processed starting the following business day.
- Order Modifications: Please review your shipping address carefully before completing your purchase. Once an order has entered the processing phase, we cannot guarantee any changes or modifications to the shipping details.
- High Volume Notification: During peak holiday seasons, promotional events, or product launches, processing times may extend to 3 business days. We will notify you via email if your order experiences significant processing delays.
2. Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates (United Kingdom)
We offer reliable domestic shipping across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We partner with reputable couriers, including Royal Mail, DPD, and DHL, to ensure your pet accessories arrive safely.
We offer two primary domestic shipping methods:
- Standard Shipping: Delivered within 3 to 5 business days after processing.
- Express Shipping: Delivered within 1 to 2 business days after processing.
Shipping Fees
- Orders Over £50: Free Standard Shipping applies to all domestic orders with a total order value of £50 or more (after discounts and before taxes).
- Orders Under £50: Standard Shipping is subject to a flat rate fee of £3.99.
- Express Shipping Option: Express shipping is available for all domestic orders at a flat rate of £6.99, regardless of the order value.
Please note that delivery to remote locations, including the Scottish Highlands, Outer Hebrides, and Isle of Man, may require an additional 1 to 2 business days for final delivery.
3. International Shipping Rates and Estimates
We are pleased to offer international shipping to selected destinations worldwide, including Europe, North America, and Australia.
- International Delivery Timeframes: International orders generally arrive within 7 to 14 business days, depending on the destination country and local postal networks.
- Calculated Shipping Costs: International shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed dynamically at checkout, based on the total weight and destination country of the shipment.
- Customs, Duties, and Taxes: International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes (such as VAT), and customs clearance fees once the package reaches your destination country. United Pet Accessories Trading Ltd is not responsible for these charges. All customs fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
4. How Do I Check the Status of My Order?
Transparency is highly important to us. When your order has shipped, you will automatically receive an email notification from us containing a unique tracking number and a link to the courier’s tracking portal.
- Activation Period: Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become active and update on the courier’s system.
- Delayed Updates: If you have not received tracking details within 3 business days of receiving your order confirmation email, or if your tracking info has stalled, please contact us at leafmis@unitedpetuk.com with your name and order number.
5. Shipping to P.O. Boxes or Military Bases
Please note that our shipping carriers cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, British Forces Post Office (BFPO) addresses, or military bases due to security restrictions. Please provide a physical residential or commercial address at checkout to ensure successful delivery.
6. Missed Deliveries and Incorrect Shipping Addresses
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.
- Incorrect Address: If a package is returned to our warehouse due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the reshipment costs.
- Unclaimed Packages: If a courier attempts delivery and leaves a notification card, it is the customer’s responsibility to arrange a redelivery or collect the parcel from the local depot within the time specified by the carrier. Unclaimed packages returned to us will be treated as standard returns, and shipping fees will not be refunded.
7. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages
We package our pet accessories securely to prevent damage during transit. However, if your order arrives damaged or goes missing, please follow these steps:
- Damaged Items: If your package is visibly damaged upon delivery, please document the condition by taking photographs of the outer packaging and the broken contents. Email these photos along with your order number to leafmis@unitedpetuk.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- Lost Packages: If your tracking status shows “Delivered” but you have not received your package, please check around your property, with neighbors, or with your building management first. If the parcel remains missing, contact our support team within 7 days of the stated delivery date so we can open a formal investigation with the carrier.
